Physical Education

The Upper School program is designed to provide a diversified curriculum that aims to positively affect each student’s self-image and confidence as they develop coordination and athletic skills. Students are given the opportunity to reach their full athletic potential in an environment committed to good sportsmanship, positive communication, a strong work ethic, and a healthy, active lifestyle, while fostering a love of sport and fitness. Students complete fitness tests assessing speed, endurance, agility, and core strength. Students learn the basic rules of sports such as soccer, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, and team handball. Basic fundamental and tactical skills are taught and practiced through scrimmage play. We also play dodgeball, tag, wall ball, kickball, and capture the flag throughout the year.
