Christiane Monteverdi is a fully credentialed Spanish and French teacher with over 15 years of experience in public and independent schools in California and abroad. She has a Bachelor of Arts in French and History from the University of California, Davis, and she holds Single Subject Teaching Credentials in Spanish, French, and History from the University of San Francisco.
Christiane is especially interested in the value of student travel and has created and led trips to France and Japan for middle school students; cultural, homestay, and community service elements have been important elements of such trips.
Christiane spent several years teaching abroad during her career, with stints at The Saudi Arabian International School in Jeddah and The American School of El Salvador. Christiane is fluent in Spanish and French, and is committed to sharing her love of languages and cultural studies with her students.
Outside of teaching, Christiane enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
