Jeadi Vilchis

Jeadi (pronounced: hiya-thee) is an accomplished STEM educator born and raised in Oakland. With a profound commitment to fostering creativity, innovation, and lifelong learning, Jeadi spearheads cutting-edge makerspaces, integrates innovative technologies, and guides students in fun, hands-on explorations. Committed to creating inclusive and collaborative learning environments, Jeadi equips students with the skills and knowledge for success in the 21st century. 

Jeadi has over 15 years of experience in teaching, educational leadership, and STEAM education. He is excited to bring his STEAM summer camps to The Academy. He loves teaching 3D printing, laser cutting, 2D/3D product design and LEGO robotics! He passionately promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, preparing the next generation of forward-thinking leaders and loves spending time birdwatching with his family in their home on the beach in Alameda.
