Ian Salter

Ian Salter is the Front Desk / Operations Associate and 7th Grade Advisor at The Academy. A Bay Area native, he graduated from Dominican University of California with a degree in Business Administration. Before joining The Academy in 2022, Ian played basketball at the University of Toledo and in England, experiences that deepened his love for teamwork and perseverance. He values The Academy’s close-knit community and its commitment to fostering curiosity and growth.

At The Academy, Ian enjoys building strong relationships with students and fostering a supportive school community. Outside of school, he loves playing basketball, camping in California’s redwoods, traveling, and gardening at home.
